Frequently Asked Questions

1)  What is therapy? Therapy is a process that allows you to identify and explore feelings with trained professional that you might have a hard time dealing with on your own.

2)  What does a session with you cost? An introductory session is free. All other sessions are $108 per 50-minute session.

3)  What forms of payment do you accept? Personal check, cash, credit card, Zelle or PayPal.

4)  Do you accept insurance? I am currently able to accept Cigna, United Healthcare, and Kaiser Norcal. Many insurance carriers/PPO plans will reimburse out-of-network therapy costs. If your policy does provide reimbursements I am happy to provide you with the appropriate paperwork “superbill” or summary of services to submit for reimbursement from your insurance provider on a monthly basis.

5)  Do you have sliding scale appointments available? I have very limited sliding scale availability at this time. Such arrangements are typically made for a limited amount of time.

6)  What is your cancellation policy? More than 24 hours in advance, you may reschedule or cancel a session at no charge. If you do not show up at your regularly scheduled appointment or cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you are liable for the full session fee. If an emergency arises, we can talk about it.

In-person sessions are held in Glendale, CA. Remote sessions via video or telephone are also available.
