About

My primary modality is psychodynamic therapy, but I will draw upon my experience with other approaches to meet a patient’s individual needs. This in-depth process of talk therapy allows you to explore and manage feelings you might have a hard time dealing with on your own. The power of speaking these emotions out loud and being listened to without judgement, accepted, and understood, can help you find within yourself the answers you are seeking. This reflective process allows you to be more empowered, authentic, and fulfilled.

I have a B.A. in Gender, Ethnic and Multicultural Studies from Cal-Poly Pomona, and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in trauma, from Antioch University.

I grew up in a large family, filled with lots of love and lots of dysfunction. I knew at an early age that I wanted to help people struggling with issues of self-esteem, substance abuse and addiction, trauma, and attitudes and behavior that results from occupying a marginalized position in society. I have been a drug and alcohol counselor for adolescents and for women, a first responder/EMT for the County of Los Angeles, and since 2017, a Marriage and Family Therapist.

In-person sessions are held in Glendale, CA. Remote sessions via video or telephone are also available.
